(Previously Big) Ben Rogers

Ben is a knee-jerking, athlete-whisperering, coach-killing nuclear overreactor. Drawn offsides into a full sportspanic by the smallest of setbacks, and guilty of over-falling in the love with prospects he's only read one paragraph about, he seems to almost simultaneously represent all of the emotions that cause passionate fans to gravitate towards the world of sports.

Born and raised in Richardson, TX, Rogers has a diverse background that includes everything from fronting a hip hop group (The Coffee Nods) to logging almost a decade in television ad sales (in which he won the most prestigious individual award for his local industry - the AWRT Award of Excellence for Best Account Executive).

A graduate of the University of North Texas with a degree in business/marketing, he lives in North Dallas with his beautiful wife Kat and their three sweet kiddos: Max, Miles and Grace.

He coaches t-ball with an intensity that only Jimmy Johnson's hair would respect.  He has always believed that Wiffle Ball is the best sport and likes to pretend that Josh Hamilton and Roy Hobbs are the same person.  He fears sharks, prison and underwater prisons in shark-infested waters.  He's an over-introducer who consistently re-introduces people who have already met.  He has turbo ADD, is addicted to fantasy football and is currently enjoying the time of his life at the wheel of his dream job.

He plays pick up basketball almost every day, even though he is old and fat.  However, not as fat as he used to be thanks to Dr. Kim.

Favorite movies: Rushmore, The Big Lebowski and Shawshank Redemption

Favorite TV shows: Curb Your Enthusiasm, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia and Arrested Development

Favorite bands:  A Tribe Called Quest, Arcade Fire and The Lonely Island

Jeff "Skin" Wade

Skin is a failed body-builder who has overcome the setbacks in his chosen profession to instead settle into a career as a sportstalker.  He comprises the "Skin" half of the Ben & Skin Show, heard weekdays on 103.3 FM ESPN.

He's hard of hearing, color-blind and doesn't get enough sleep so clearly he's quite a catch.  He's also prone to befriend and place full trust in the unreliable. He's pretty convinced he can disprove Norse Mythology.  He
understands the need for neon, but he wouldn't employ it himself.  He misuses "ibid."

He's obsessed with hoops, old-school hip-hop, and art flicks and has managed to turn those passions into various creative ventures.  He's written a weekly hip-hop column, co-created the production massive Hydroponic Sound System and was one of the original members of Erykah Badu's free-form hip-hop group The Cannabinoids.

Skin is entering his third full season as Mavericks' television analyst after having joined the broadcast midway through the 2008-09 season. He's actually encouraged to note his bizarre observations on air while also utilizing his vast basketball knowledge - one based on a strong foundation set by his father who is a former basketball coach.  He's been overheard calling that experience "awesome."

He graduated from the University of North Texas in Denton and makes his home in Allen where he is generally tolerated by his wife Tricia, and their two kids, Maya and Desmond.  He likes all of their hair.  It's nice, better than his.

Because he strongly distrusts internet bio writers - a fact that is well-known in their community - he feels that it's highly unlikely he'll be fairly represented in any internet bio. Thus, he's been known to take control of his own internet bio.  At this point there's not enough information to determine whether or not this has happened in this particular instance.

Shaun "Dodge" Dodge

Dodge runs thangs, taking over the reins from Friedo after the much-criticized Producer Trade of 2011. He's been with ESPN Radio since February of 2002, working alongside Galloway and Company for more than 7 years and is the employee all of management fears due to his ability to be a radio triple threat.

When he's not mining for radio platinum, he's often found at home with his wife, Ellie, and daughter, Sadie. He absorbs all things pop culture and is actually a pretty awesome cook. He dabbles in a little drumming, having established and been a member of the Dallas Mavericks Drumline for 9+ seasons. His attention has turned to the guitar where he can now be heard schlocking through various Radiohead and Avett Brothers riffs. The new album drops in 2014, so be on the lookout.

He watches an absurd number of movies, often repeating the same ones for no apparent reason (seen "Swingers" 50+ times, same with "Bottle Rocket"). Dodge still isn't sure when this 3D phase will end, but has managed to amass a small pile of those free glasses. (Hint - they don't work when driving a motor vehicle).

He's handsome.

Also, the Denver Broncos.

Oh, and Star Wars.

And Chick-Fil-A.

Tacos, y'all.

Always Sunny.

Brendan Smith

Brendan is the assistant producer and technical director for the Ben & Skin Show. He is affectionately referred to as “the intern” despite being a paid employee for almost two years. Brendan started his career at ESPN in August of 2009 where he actually was an intern and wowed the suits with his magical skills and stunning good looks. In December of 2009 Brendan was hired and his ascent to greatness began.

Brendan proudly graduated from Cedar Hill High School where he was a superstar athlete for the JV baseball team. He could have gone pro if his coach would have let him pinch hit in 9th inning of the Junior Varsity Regional Tournament. Brendan’s pursuit of manliness began his Junior year of high school when he put away his dream of playing 3rd base for the Rangers so he could focus on…theatre.

Brendan currently lives in Dallas with his wife, Ashley, and his yellow lab, Oliver. He has had an unhealthy obsession with the Dallas Mavericks since he was a kid and has the broadcast calls for several buzzer beaters from the 2000/2001 season memorized. He is a die-hard Rangers and Cowboys fan and pretends to really like hockey. Brendan claims to have seen Mighty Ducks 2 more than any other human in the world and says, “If you want to make me happy, give me a gallon of milk, a box of fruity pebbles, and get out of the way.” Brendan also wears a hat almost every day.
